It’s the bestselling toy of all time and solving the 3×3 Cube as fast as possible is attracting nimble-fingered competitors around the world.
The Arnold Sports Festival Australia will have some of the best in the world competing in the World Cube Association sanctioned ASFA Speedcubing 2018 event.
Come and have a go! There will be workshops to learn how to solve the 3×3 Cube.
You will see competitors solve: a 3×3 Cube with one handed, while blindfolded, and various twisty puzzles such as the 4×4, 5×5, Square-1, Pyraminx and Megaminx. Timing equipment from Speed Stacks Australia will be used and WCA regulations will be adhered to with WCA delegates present.
The World Cube Association is the de facto governing body of the sport of Speedcubing. Since 2003, over 60,000 people have competed in more than 2500 competitions around the world to see who can solve the cube in the fastest time.
