Arnold Classic Multi-Sport Festival Australia

The Arnold Sports Festival Australia is a multi-sport festival and Australia’s largest fitness expo. Including over 25 sporting events and growing, it is one of six events held around the world named and co-promoted by legendary bodybuilder, former Governor of California and film star Arnold Schwarzenegger ( others events being North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Europe ).

The Arnold Sports Festival Australia features a multitude of sporting events, the largest fitness expo in the country showcasing the latest in supplements, apparel, fitness equipment and technology, a kids expo with a huge range of sports for the whole family to come and try, the Arnold Classic pro bodybuilding competition thats attracts the biggest, baddest bodybuilders in the world, a World Class Strongman competition, athletes and celebrities from around the world, plus of course:  the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger ! 

Attendees will also be able participate in a huge array of exciting activities, business and fitness seminars, and celebrate it all at the event’s star studded after party!

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is located on the banks of the Yarra River, only a short walk from Melbourne’s central business district, and a 20-minute drive to Melbourne Airport connects MCEC to the rest of Australia and the world. Transport to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre 
Taxis take 20 minutes from the airport and cost around $40.  Drop off points are at 1 Convention Centre Place or 2 Clarendon Street, South Wharf.
Tram numbers 96, 112 and 109 travel down Spencer/Clarendon streets and stop opposite the Clarendon Street entrance of the MCEC.  Tram numbers 48 and 70 stop at the end of Flinders Street. Walk towards the Yarra River, across the new pedestrian bridge.
Take the train to Southern Cross Station. Tram numbers 96, 109 and 112 travel past Southern Cross Station down Spencer/Clarendon Streets and stop opposite the MCEC.
Bus route 238 operates to and from Southern Cross Station to Convention Centre Place between the hours of 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday. The coach pick-up/drop-off point is coach bay 1, Convention Centre Place (closest to DFO South Wharf).   Visit Public Transport Victoria for timetable information.

Parking locations & costs

There are 1,060 undercover parking spaces at the MCEC, which are managed by Wilson Parking.

Entrance off Normanby Road. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Due to fees continually changing, we direct you to the Wilson Parking website for the MCEC carpark for further cost details.   Wilson Parking Cost (Click here)  Please note – All MEC car park patrons will be directed to car park Door 1 during overnight closure (8pm – 6am), to access the external areas of the precinct.
